How did you meet Cynthia?

I met Cyn in the summer of 2018 when we started training Jethro as a puppy.

How long have you had dogs and what do you love most them?

Pete helping train a client during one of our Sunday training sessions.

My family had a golden retriever when I was growing up but only had dogs as an adult when we took Jethro home. We brought him home in 2018 as a puppy and brought home our second dog, Rogue, in 2023. The thing that I enjoy most about having dogs is that no matter what’s going on, their energy and excitement can always make life fun and interesting.

How long have you been helping with training and what do you love most about it?

I started helping with training in the fall of 2020. I enjoy being able to educate and explain the training process to new dog owners. I have a passion for educating, and truly enjoy sharing my knowledge and experiences with others.

What other dog related activities do you do?

Outside of training our two dogs, I spend most of the time playing and walking with them. I am a healthcare provider and I present to different groups about the medical benefits of therapy animals, service dogs, and emotional support animals. When able, Jethro accompanies me on those lectures. Jethro is also a therapy dog and he has done a handful of visits over the past few years.
